Applications for August~September Asda Story HelpersDear Asda Story Community,
For those of you who are not familiar with the Asda Story Helper program, Asda Story Helpers are experienced players who have a firm grasp of the game and are willing to help out newer players, answer any questions they might have, and welcome them into the Asda Story Community.
Since the end of the August ~ September Asda Story Helper period is coming soon, we will be taking applications for players wishing to be Asda Story Helpers for the next Helper period.

What is an Asda Story Helper?
An Asda Story Helper is a fairly experienced user who lends his or her knowledge of the games functions, classes, quests, etc. to players in-game who need help. They are encouraged to give out tips, assist new players with any questions they may have, and help the GMs maintain order and decency in the channels. One or two users who are very active and involved on the forums may be chosen to assist in forum moderation duties. This may or may not include users who are also Asda Story Helpers, and will be a separate choice based on user activity and our needs in the forums.
This is purely a volunteer position.
The Asda Story Helper is not a permanent position, and Helpers will rotate out every 6 weeks based on maintenance times. If we think that your performance is not fitting for someone we would like to help us make the game a better place for our users, any future re-applications for the Asda Story Helper position will be passed over. If we think that your performance helping us improve the game was exceptional however, we may choose to extend the length of your time as an Asda Story Helper for more than 6 weeks. Please keep in mind that even if you have performed your duties excellently during your time as a Helper, we may need to rotate you out the following period to allow other players the opportunity to contribute, and you may again be selected for future periods once spots have again opened up, and this is in no way personal. We would like to give as many users as possible the chance to help us out.
Requirements for becoming an Asda Helper:
- Applicant's character in the game must be at least level 30
- You must have a well-rounded understanding and knowledge of Asda Story's mechanics, classes, quests, etc.
-You must be able to speak and read the English language well (the ability to speak other languages is a great plus, but it is not required for selection)
How do I apply to become an Asda Helper?
Applicants must send their application to the DQA board on the Asda Story Official Website ONLY (asdastory.gamescampus.com) during the announced application periods which will be in the Asda Story Events/News sections. Please provide the following information as part of the application process:
-Account name
-Character name
-Character level
-Character class
-Channel that you usually play in
-Requested channel (if no preference, please say any or all)
-Your geographic location
-Your time zone
-Include why you would like to be an Asda Helper and describe your experiences in Asda Story so far.
-Title your DQA "Asda Helper Application for Aug~Sept"
-If chosen, you will be assigned a specific channel that we would like you to operate in most of the time if possible, and you are not forced in any way to either solely remain in that channel, log on for certain amounts of time, or at specific times as the position is completely voluntary. However, we would like to provide every channel available in the game a set of Asda Helpers based on their classes, geographic locations of the Helpers, and time zones to allow users to find help whenever they may need it, for whatever classes they may have questions about. During your time as the Asda Helper for that channel, we ask that you only log in to the assigned channel to help users out there specifically.
- We are looking for at least 1 Asda Helper of each class, to be in each of the channels each period. (For channel 1, we need 2 Asda Helpers of each class)
- Successful applicants will receive special indicators for their characters to allow other users to recognize the Asda Helpers and direct their questions to them. This may be a special title before their name, or another signifying item.
- All Asda Helpers activities will be monitored even more closely than the general player community, as we need to be certain that the Asda Helpers are providing the best guidance and support to other players as possible; any abuse of the position or breaking of other aspects of the Asda Story Terms Of Service (swearing, hacking, harassment etc.) will not be tolerated and result in their removal from the Asda Helper program and subject to the normal administrative actions in the TOS. The same will be true for general users harassing or interfering with the volunteer duties of the Asda Story Helpers.
- Please note that any Asda Helper items or signifiers cannot be traded and will be removed once their period as an Asda Helper is concluded.
